Career: 9 patrols. 14th March 1942 - 30th September 1942, 8th Flottille (Training). 1st October 1942 - 31st October 1944, 6th Flottille (Front Boat). 1st November 1944 - 12th March 1945, 33rd Flottille (Front Boat).
Successes: 1 ship sunk for a total of 4.893 tons.
Fate: Scuttled at 2230hrs on 12 March, 1945 south of Ireland, in position 51.15N, 09.05W, after being mined at 80 meters depth. Whole crew interned in Ireland 48 survivors (No casualties).
Notes: 33rd Flottille had a total of 76 U-boats from September 1944 to May 1945.
